We may collect information you provide when creating an app account, completing forms, making a booking or contacting us. This may include your name, email address, mobile number, login details, appointment or booking information, and information you choose to provide through app forms or messages. Where relevant, this may include health-related information.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and manage app access, appointments, reminders, care plans, forms, communications, customer support and practice-related services. We may also use information to maintain the security and functioning of the app and to improve our services.

Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including PayFast and Google Play, where applicable. Card details are entered and processed through the relevant secure payment provider or app store and are not stored by us through the app.

Service providers and links

We may use trusted service providers to operate the app and related services, including Adalo, PayFast, Google Play, online booking tools and practice-management systems.

Some features may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

How we protect information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information using  appropriate administrative, technical and organisational safeguards. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention of information

We retain app information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Clinical records, treatment notes, appointment history, invoices and other healthcare-related records may be retained separately where required by applicable law, professional obligations, medical-aid requirements or accounting requirements.

Your choices and account deletion

You may request deletion of your Wellness App account and associated app data by visiting our delete my App Account page here.

Deleting an app account does not automatically delete clinical or other records that we are required to retain.
